Boone Pickens Donates $425,000 to Mya Gonzales Foundation

Thanks in part to a $425,000 gift from T. Boone Pickens, The Mya Gonzales Foundation; in cooperation with Oklahoma State University’s College of Human Environmental Sciences will launch The Rise School of Stillwater. If the foundation can match this gift in 6-8 months, an additional $425,000 will be donated by Mr. Pickens. ( See related article on the OSU Foundation Web site.)
"Football 101 for Women" Raises $10,000

Hosted by OSU Head Football Coach Mike Gundy and his staff, this clinic allowed participants to learn the basics of the game in a relaxed setting while raising approximately $10,000 for The Mya Gonzales Foundation. ( See related article on the OSU Web site.)
First Annual Mya Gonzales Foundation Golf Outing

The first annual Mya Gonzales Foundation golf outing was held on April 30, 2007. Featured celebrities included Walt Garrison, Mike Gundy, Jack Lengyl, Pablo Martin, Kurt Budke, R.W. McQuarters, Mike McGraw, Laura Matthews, Gary Barnett, Jackie Sherrill, Tim Beckman, Larry Fedora, Rob Glass, Cale Gundy and others. This inaugural event raised $100,000 for the Rise School Stillwater.
