In order to help as many families with special needs as possible, The Mya Gonzales Foundation is in the process of forming partnerships with other organizations that share its goals and vision for the future. The most important affiliation we are working toward is with the College of Human Environmental Science at OSU.
OSU - Supporting the Rise School of Stillwater
We have formed a partnership with the College of Human Environmental Science at OSU for many reasons. In doing so, we bring together child development and genetic experts, researchers, educators and special needs children. In addition, it will provide OSU students with valuable hands-on experience that would broaden their early childhood development education to include those with disabilities. This will be accomplished through internships, volunteer work and observational research.
